According to eyewitnesses, a black SUV ran a red light at high speed and collided directly with a white sedan that was turning legally at the intersection. The impact was so severe that both vehicles spun out of control, crashing into a nearby utility pole. "I heard a loud crash and rushed out from the café," said Maria Lopez, who was on the scene.
